Here is a break down of the costs that we incur for our animals. If you would like to make a donation for something particular please list what you would like your donation to go towards. If you would like to sponsor a particular animal, please list the name of the animal(s). Thank you!

♦ $32.00 2 bags of grain for 1 horse
♦ $80.00 Sponsor 1 horse for 1 month
♦ $150.00 1 horse shoeing or 1 dental visit
♦ $400.00 1 week of grain for 20 horses
♦ $1,200.00 150 bales of hay (approx. 2 weeks worth)
♦ $6,200.00 completely sponsor a rescue horse for 1 year
♦ $ _______ another resident (cat, goat, pigs, chickens)
♦ $300-500.00 Teeth cleaning for 1 cat
♦ $150.00 Annual dog/cat veterinary check up/visit

The new facility will be replacing our existing barn that is in poor condition. Tara Farm is reaching out in an effort to obtain a charitable donation to fund this new barn project. Each of us can help make a difference in ending the unwanted horse problem. When it comes to horse ownership, breeding, adoptions, and end-of-life decisions — all factors that affect the number of unwanted horses — the actions we take
